Ordering Repeat Prescriptions

To order your repeat prescriptions we have a separate telephone line - call 0114 283 0863.

You can ring this line 24 hours a day and leave a message on the answer phone. However, if you prefer to speak to a receptionist, you can ring Monday to Friday 10.30am to 12 noon and a receptionist will take your call.

In Surgery

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be left in the box in the waiting area.

Online

From Tuesday 3rd January 2012 you will be able to follow this link to SystmOnline and order your repeat prescription online. You will need a username and password so that you can use these facilities which can be obtained in person from our receptionist.

Collection

Your prescriptions will be ready in 2 working days.

Dispensing Practice

Our practice is a part dispensing practice. Patients living in rural areas (this includes Bolsterstone, Cranemoor, Ewden Valley, Midhopestones, Greenmoor, Langsett, Thurgoland, Wortley and Wharncliffe Side) may have their prescriptions dispensed at the surgery. There is a pharmacy on the lower ground floor of the surgery, Deepcar Pharmacy, and two in Stocksbridge - Lloyds and The National Co-operative Chemist.

Our dispensary for dispensing patients is open from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 11.30am. We dispense medication to patients as prescribed by the doctor. We do not sell over the counter medications.
